Untapped, distinct and superior
Immune Biosolutions combines the considerable avian-mammalian phylogenetic distance with self-versus non-self-immune activation. Mammalian proteins are more immunogenic in chickens, and this results in better epitope coverage as well as increased antibody diversity and affinity. Mammalian IgG and avian IgY are both divalent and monomeric, and produced by analogous immune systems. Since, the variable regions of IgG and IgY are structurally similar, an IgY-derived single chain variable fragment (ScFv) can seamlessly undergo ultrahumanization, giving access to a novel therapeutic antibody repertoire.

3D conformation-specific antibodies
Spatial antibodies are raised against peptides that adopt a three-dimensional conformation mimicking the target in its native environment. This alleviates traditional antibody generation hurdles, and enables to tackle highly-structured or transmembrane domain-containing targets, such as GPCR and ion channels for which no other antibodies generation strategy previously succeeded.
